Creative & Hands-On

Wellness Workshops

Workshops and wellness offerings are designed to create approachable, supportive spaces that encourage connection, reflection, emotional wellness, and practical growth.

Offerings combine trauma-informed principles, facilitated discussion, experiential activities, creative expression, and wellness-focused education in ways that are engaging, accessible, and culturally responsive.

Workshops may be available virtually or in person.

  • A two-part creative wellness workshop where participants design and create a personalized commemorative plaque honoring their military service, experiences, identity, or journey. Participants are invited to bring meaningful items such as old uniforms, uniform components, patches, insignia, rank devices, challenge coins, ribbons, photographs, or other service-related memorabilia to incorporate into their final piece.

The workshop combines guided reflection, storytelling, and creative expression in a supportive and community-centered environment. Participants will also have access to custom acrylic elements, laser-cut and laser-engraved components, engraved quotes, names, dates, or symbolic designs to personalize their plaque.

All workshop supplies and materials are included. No artistic experience is required.

  • Letters Never Sent

A reflective creative wellness workshop centered on the power of writing, storytelling, and emotional expression. Participants are invited to write letters they may never send — to a person, a version of themselves, an experience, a season of life, military service, grief, loss, transition, or words left unspoken.

This workshop creates a supportive and emotionally grounded space for reflection, connection, and personal expression through guided writing prompts, facilitated discussion, and optional creative elements. Participants may also choose to incorporate meaningful excerpts, quotes, or phrases into personalized keepsakes using laser engraving, acrylic, or handcrafted materials.

The experience is designed to encourage emotional processing, self-reflection, and healing in a way that feels approachable, creative, and community-centered. No writing experience is necessary.

  • Mission Continues

A strengths-based wellness workshop focused on purpose, identity, transition, and rebuilding meaningful connection after military service or major life change. This workshop encourages participants to reflect on how the skills, values, leadership, and resilience developed through service can continue to shape life beyond the uniform.

Through guided discussion, reflective activities, and wellness-focused conversations, participants explore themes such as purpose, structure, belonging, personal growth, relationships, burnout recovery, and redefining success in civilian life.

As part of the experience, participants will create a personalized “mission continues” keepsake or vision piece using engraved wood, acrylic, symbolic imagery, meaningful quotes, milestone dates, personal values, or future goals. Creative elements are designed to provide a tangible reminder of identity, growth, and continued purpose moving forward.

This workshop is designed to foster connection, reflection, and empowerment in a supportive and community-centered environment. No artistic experience is required.
