Individual & Group Therapy

Services designed to support emotional wellness, healing, identity development, resilience, and sustainable growth in everyday life.

Approach to Therapy

A Collaborative & Human-Centered Approach

Therapy at JHA Wholehearted Works is rooted in authenticity, cultural humily, trauma-informed care, and meaningful human connection. Sessions are tailored to the individual or group- recognizing that healing is not one-size-fits-all.

The Therapeutic Process May Incorporate:

  • Strengths-based approaches

  • Mindfulness & grounding practices

  • Psychoeducation

  • Narrative & reflective work

  • Creative & experiential interventions

  • Skill building and emotional regulation strategies

  • Community-centered and identity-informed perspectives

Services are provided under clinical supervision in accordance with Minnesota licensing requirements and ethical standards. Ongoing supervision and professional consultation are incorporated to support quality care, continued growth, and best practices.

Individual therapy offers a confidential & supportive space to process experiences, explore emotions, build coping strategies, and work toward personal goals.

Sessions are collaborative and adapted to individual needs. Some sessions may involve reflective conversation and processing, while others may focus on coping skills, mindfulness, structured interventions, goal setting, or creative therapeutic exercises.

Individual Therapy

Healing often happens in connection with others. Group therapy creates space for shared experiences, mutual support, skill building, and community-centered healing.

Groups may include discussion, reflective exercises, mindfulness practices, psychoeducation, expressive activities, and collaborative processing in a supportive environment.
